| David’s Bridal “Kitty”, died black | Steve Madden “Ultimit” |
If you’re in the market for dyeable shoes, then you have to check out the styles that David’s Bridal has in stores nowadays. I just went in there the other day expecting there to be the same dowdy, clunky styles that I’ve seen in other stores, if not incredibly high, painfully pointy shoes that are clearly not geared toward moms who like to dance but hate twisted ankles. Imagine my surprise when I saw that they have actually taken a cue from other popular shoe retailers and created very fashionable and comfortable heels! Take a look at this style, with its retro twist and sturdy heel, dyed black. They’re almost identical to the Steve Maddens on the right. The beauty is…you can get them dyed to coordinate with whatever outfit you’re wearing to your next special occasion.
Style your feet for the summer
April 23, 2009
With spring here and summer just around the corner, you’ll probably be dipping into your closet for colorful tops, brightly printed skirts, and crisp white dresses. One of the questions we always get is, “What shoes do I wear with this?” We found this incredible pair of Stuart Weitzman peep-toes pumps that will go with just about anything you can throw on your body this season. We always suggest wearing neutral colored accessories with colorful patterns, which lends sophistication to the outfit without competing with the colors. This is a stacked wooden heel, which means you could wear it to an afternoon wedding or go casual with a pair of jeans. The camel color is fantastic, and elongates your legs! With all the places and outfits you’ll wear these shoes, we think they are totally worth the splurge.
